The Cursed Recluse
The Cursed Recluse Champion Loadout
Anchorite is one of the best epic options for the Infinity Shield clan boss team in the game currently. This Cursed set build is just for that. He has a great AOE A1 for it and his buff extension A2 has a cleanse. This can work out really well with other champions like Lanakis the Chosen for example, to help get the Hex debuffs out there as quick as possible as the heads transition in and out of decapitation.
Anchorite also has an A3 ability that gives all of his allies Increase Critical Rating and Increased Critical Damage buffs. This can make gearing up your other champions easier and more optimal. Such as allowing you to give Underpriest Brogni more critical damage, since you won't have to gear him with as much critical rating. Which is low key amazing.
Strategy Description
Artifacts Description
The star of the show here is going to be the Cursed set. You can use whatever other 2 piece set you want to use. Something with more speed is preferable. The Hex debuff is going to allow your team to do more damage. When Corpulent Cadaver starts ramping up his damage, this can be a lot of extra damage you won't want to miss out on.
Anchorite is great at placing the Hex due to his A1 AOE attack. Especially when paired with a Lanakis for the ally attack. Stats-wise you will want to build him fast and with a lot of resistance. The faster, the better. Refresh accessories again, if available on your account, would be center stage. The more stacks you can add to the shields, the better.
* Some artifact sets have upgraded versions available. If you have a better upgraded version of this recommended artifact set, definitely use that instead.
* There is an upgraded version of the Speed set called Divine Speed set that can be gained as a reward from chests given within the game such as Arena reward chests or can be bought from the game shop.
The sixth level mastery can depend on which difficulty you are doing but this build works up to Nightmare difficulty. On the Normal difficulty you could go with Warmaster easily and skip any extra Resistance you may need or want. If you want to keep your buffs on the higher difficulties, you'll want to hit the minimum threshold. Any form of counterattacks give you extra chances to land your Hex debuffs. Lots of solid masteries here.
Cruelty
Cruelty
Level 1 Blessing
Cruelty is a great blessing for him since he has the AOE A1 attack. He can decrease the defense of multiple heads quickly. Especially when Lanakis is around.
Level 6 Blessing
Cruelty is a great blessing again for a six star version. It will just do it's job that much easier and more efficiently.
