Serpent Hexer
Serpent Hexer Champion Loadout
This build is meant to be used with the Infinity Shield clan boss team composition. The main point of this build is to provide Hex coverage on the Hydra heads as well as get as many Decrease Defense and Weaken debuffs out on the heads as possible. Lydia provides a great deal of utility to this team comp.
The heads will be getting destroyed very regularly by Corpulent Cadaver so the debuffs will be popping on and off at sporadic times and rates. They will need to be re-established quickly. Hence the refresh accessories and other means for getting back around to the A2 as quickly as possible. Make sure to build her with plenty of speed and accuracy.
Strategy Description
Artifacts Description
The Cursed set is the star of the show here. It really doesn't matter how you get Hex on the targets, either by set or champion ability. The more Hex debuffs out on the heads, the more damage that will be added to the final score. Having two Cursed sets is much more optimal than having just one. Especially if you can get it on a champion with a constant AOE attack like Krisk the Ageless or Anchorite.
Having this set on Lydia is a nice bonus, since you get the Decrease Defense and Weaken debuffs from the same champion. Which makes Lydia a popular choice for this type of team composition. Although other champions can fill this role as well.
* Some artifact sets have upgraded versions available. If you have a better upgraded version of this recommended artifact set, definitely use that instead.
We want to go with PVE masteries for this build since we are fighting the Hydra. Warmaster makes a lot of sense as a final mastery to increase the damage of the final score. I went down the Offense tree to get to Warmaster. Just picking up all the extra damage I can get a long the way.
Then I went with the Support tree for the second option to get all the extra accuracy I can get. We do need some accuracy to land our debuffs, although not as much as we would need in the arena. Since we are going with the Cursed set and a lot of speed, accuracy could suffer some in this build. Lasting Gifts is good as is Master Hexer. We like Cycle of Magic here a lot as well.
Cruelty
Cruelty
Level 1 Blessing
You have six spots on this team. That gives you a few options for what might be the best complimentary blessing to use. In this case, I feel like the Cruelty blessing is a very strong option for this champion on this team. Both at the lower and higher blessing levels. The ability to decrease defense to add some additional damage to Brogni's A2 ability helps out and every bit counts.
Level 6 Blessing
Same as above. Every little bit of extra damage counts towards your end score. You only have six options for different blessings to compliment this team. Cruelty is one of the best options by far.
