A very underestimated champion at the time of this writing within the Raid community. Angar is a beast in the arena when unsuspecting victims are abound. His Provoke is absolutely nasty and his counterattack + Reflect Damage is really awesome. Not to mention his passive is pretty spectacular even though it's conditional and not 100% rate. If he catches you off-guard in arena, it's lights out.
Arbiter is one of the top champions in the game and everybody has access to her through quests. Everyone will get her and she is extremely powerful. That remains true till the end game and Angar seems to be her counter. As long as he can get off his A2. The control is top notch, the damage isn't great but against weaker go-1st damage dealers it is more than good enough.
Angar is just really tanky and doesn't get the proper credit he is due. If you have an account that is in Gold V or lower, you can make a lot of use out of this guy. He shouldn't be guarding your vault. He is responsible for nearly 80% of my Great Hall bonuses being achieved. Literally. I'm not an old day one player either. I recently started within the last two years. He is still viable. Today.

Places a [Provoke] debuff on them for 1 turn. Also has a 75% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on them for 2 turns instead.
Then places a 30% [Reflect Damage] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Also places a [Counterattack] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.

If an enemy with a [Provoke] debuff attacks this Champion, has a 40% chance of replacing it with another [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn.
Also has a 90% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff on an enemy for 1 turn when an enemy under a [Provoke] debuff attacks an ally.
Each hit taken will reduce damage taken by 5% (up to 30% in one round).
