Ceiling Zapper Overview

The Ceiling Zapper is the strongest single target damage trap in the game but it is Nature locked. It functions the complete opposite of the Ceiling Electric Field. This ceiling trap does massive Nature damage to one husk in a one tile area where the other trap does moderate Nature damage to all husks in a wide 3x3 area. It does increased damage versus Water husks and reduced damage versus Fire husks.

It is great when used against higher health husks, such as Mist Monsters, especially Smashers. It is better utilized when it is placed closer to your objectives so it's ready to go when one of the big boys makes it through your primary outer layer of defense. Like at the end of your trap tunnels. With it's super long reload time and arming delay, you want to make sure it counts and not have it wasted firing off on a huskling.

It can fire off and hit targets through reverse stairs/angled floors. Shielders with shields will significantly reduce their damage. The trap will target and damage the Shielders first.
