You play as hero classes in Fortnite Save the World. There are four types of hero classes to choose from. Constructors, Ninjas, Outlanders and Soldiers. With various sub-classes for each that specialize in different areas of gameplay. Every hero class in the game can use weapons, abilities and build in general. Then they get class defining abilities and perks beyond that to give them a unique sense of style and personality.
- Constructors: The first class type is the Constructor and they bring your bases to life. The primary focus is around building, buffing and defending bases. They excel in the use of Hardware weapons and Explosives. They also have some crowd control and damaging abilities. As well as some resource regeneration capabilities. They have some of the highest health pools in the game.
- Ninja: As one would expect, the Ninja are very deadly in Fortnite Save the World in the form of abilities and weapon damage. They excel at edged melee combat but also make great use of all forms of ranged weaponry. They provide excellent movement capabilities and the ability to clear massive waves of husks in single strikes.
- Outlanders: Outlanders excel at gathering materials in the game and providing unique combat advantages in the forms of lethal gadgets and abilities they unleash on the battlefield. They have extremely versatile sub-classes. Some of which are among the best resource farmers and damage dealers in the game.
- Soldiers: Last but not least, Soldiers bring the pain in many ways and excel in various types of ranged weaponry. They can specialize in many different types of loadouts. They also have some team buffs and enemy debuffs to provide some utility to the class. Some consider them to be the most dangerous of all the hero class types in Fortnite Save the World.
