Breakbeat Wildcat is one of the most phenomenal and versatile heroes to come out in Fortnite Save the World in a long time. She is available from the Rad Llamas that are a part of, "The Long Road Home" storyline event. That was available during Season 10. In both Epic and Legendary versions.

Her Battle Beat perk is going to be a standard for most builds going forward for a long time. Battle Beat applies Rockin' Riff. Which is a massive 50% damage boost to your hero and an incredible amount of melee attack speed in 32% for 8 seconds. Which decays slowly over time each second. It can be refreshed before it wears off. It will trigger from alternative sources such as traps and gadgets. Which helps in keeping it active.

This is highly useful to all loadouts in the support slot. To activate it in the support all you have to do is get 10 kills in 9 seconds. Where it really shines is with her in the Commander slot. As the uptime on Rockin' Riff is extremely high in most applicable situations when it is getting applied after every 4 kills.

Her versatility really shines through as she can really work with just about any type of loadout you want to choose. With ranged weapons and with melee weapons, of all types. I don't find her limited to just one type of specific build although you could argue to get the most out of her you would want to play as a melee based hero to take advantage of the attack speed portion of the buff as well as the damage.

The unique piece of using Breakbeat as a melee based hero is that she is a Soldier and you just don't see many Soldier loadouts that are viable for melee based builds. That means you get access to the Soldier abilities instead of a Ninja or Constructor. Shockwave and Frag Grenade supplement this type of loadout well. Unfortunately you lose the benefit of your class perks, since they're ranged based.

She, like any hero with Rockin' Riff, has a natural affinity and synergy with the new team perk Totally Rockin' Out. Once it is unlocked from Dennis Jr. in the questline of The Long Road Home event, it becomes a natural selection for most loadouts and is highly recommended at the time of this writing. There are also some nice synergies with some of the Boombox weapons that are also included in this set.

This is one of a handful of heroes that really make sense in just about any loadout configuration. There's going to be a lot of great ones and not many bad ones because of how strong the Battle Beat perk is. She is a very powerful hero when used in any capacity.

All in all, you will want to get your hands on a Breakbeat Wildcat hero. You will most likely get a lot of use out of her, either as the Commander or in the support slot. She makes a natural choice for other Totally Rad heroes when they're used as Commanders. You won't want to miss out on this totally rad throwback hero!
